Hi everyone, I thought that I would that I would write a fun light post from my childhood that I have made to be Bible based.
As a child I loved Annie the movie in 1982 and I saw it so many times
and I wanted that Daddy Warbucks to adopt me as a child as well and I
wanted to be Annie. I loved my parents, but I wanted this to happen. I watched the 2014 remake of Annie to and enjoyed it as well. Later in life I saw Annie in the theatre played by Miranda Hart which I
loved and I stood up at the end and gave a standing
ovation. How many of you growing up loved Annie as well. Although Annie
was about a girl as I was, boys are adopted children of God to, so this about you
as well.
In the Bible, through Jesus Christ scripture tells us that we can become adopted children of God. By Jesus giving us the remission of he makes us fit to be stand before God the Father, so we can become his adopted children. So, I am a child of God and an adopted child of God through Jesus Christ alone and I suppose in a way I got my dream and I was adopted at last! Hopefully I may go on and if Jesus Christ says that he knows me at the end when judgement comes, I will get to live with God in his kingdom, so I get adopted by Daddy “Warbucks” in the end and I willl find the missing locket. I was always a daddy’s girl although I loved my mother as well.
(Ephesians 1:5)- "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.”
(Galatians 4:4-7)- "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.”
(John 1:12)- "But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."
(Pslam 72) In Psalm 72 God has said that he support those who were afflicted in life.
When I used to pray over one decade ago once-my heart used to say “I love you daddy” and this was about God after I had an intervention that saved my life.
So Together at last and keep dreaming and hoping. Together at last comes from the Annie movie and why not add a short video of that song as well and some nice pictures from when I saw it at the theatre.
